The Boothbay Region Information Center and the town of Boothbay have each voted to pledge $2,000 to fund the Boothbay Region filming of the TV show, “Getting Away Together.”  

If we can meet our fundraising goal of $55,000, this show could promote the Boothbay area on TV and the Internet for the next five to seven years. It will showcase all the wonderful features of our region and we would own the rights to the footage.

For the show to run over the winter, we need to raise the money within the next couple of weeks to secure a September filming date. This will benefit everyone who makes a living in our region and will help “re-brand” our area as the Maine vacation destination.
