Dear Editor:

I have not always been the easiest person to deal with. I have certainly made my fair share of mistakes along the way. However it has been an honor, a pleasure, and a privilege to serve this community from Hometown Convenience. There have been so many individuals that have made this experience so special. I cannot name you all. So many great conversations personal and political, funny and sad. So many people that have bailed me out of difficult moments that I can never repay. I honestly believe many of you have been guardian angels and thank you all.

To my amazing girls, my store family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work, dedication, and so many memories. I've watched your families grow and have watched each of you grow as well. The store would never have been what it was without you. I will always remember and never forget the smiles on your faces, the pride you carried with you throughout the years after receiving Boothbay's Best Pizza Award in 2013.

I know these are uncertain times at the moment for you. However, I have full confidence in each of you. You will each move on to a new chapter and be successful in the new challenges and  endeavors ahead of you. Thank you all for sticking by me all these years. Thank you so much.

I hope at some point I have made a positive impact in your lives. I know that each of you have made a huge impact in mine.
