The Boothbay Seahawks improved their record to 4-3 on Jan. 13 with a road victory over Telstar in Bethel in boys’ Mountain Valley Conference basketball action. Boothbay won despite missing two starters. Connor Wenners was the Seahawks’ top scorer with 12 and Adam Currier added eight. Telstar’s Brayden Stevens was the game’s leading scorer with 22. Telstar drops to 0-7. Boothbay’s next game is Saturday, Jan. 15 versus Spruce Mountain (7-0) at Porter Memorial Gymnasium.
