Beginning Monday, June 15, Healthy Lincoln County will be providing free, healthy summer meals to children 18 years old and younger at locations throughout the county. No registration is required for these meals and unlike past years, children will not have to eat meals on-site for most sites. Child, parent or guardian can pick up meals to go. Unfortunately, home delivery is not available. Times for meal distribution vary by site. More locations may be added.

Healthy Lincoln County is always looking for more volunteers who can help pick up meals from one of its two kitchens (Waldoboro and Edgecomb) and drop off meals at sites, preferably with a standard schedule (same day every week). Boothbay Region YMCA (Monday through Friday), starting June 15, lunch only, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Boothbay Harbor: Campbell Creek Neighborhood (Monday through Friday, starting June 15, breakfast and lunch, 11 a.m.-11:10 a.m.

Camp Knickerbocker, Boothbay (Monday through Friday), starting June 15, breakfast, 7:30-8:30 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Clifford Playground, Boothbay (Monday through Friday), starting June 15, lunch only, 11:30 a.m.-noon

Edgecomb: Davis Island Neighborhood (Monday through Friday), starting June 15, breakfast and lunch, 11 a.m.-11:10 a.m.

Southport Central School (Monday through Friday), starting June 15, breakfast and lunch, noon-12:30 p.m.

Wiscasset Community Center (Monday through Friday), starting June 15, breakfast, 7:30-8:30 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

CLC YMCA, Damariscotta (Monday through Friday), starting June 15, breakfast, 7:30-8:30 a.m., lunch, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Waldoboro Public Library (Thursdays only), starting June 22, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Miller School, Waldoboro (Monday through Friday), starting June 22, breakfast, 9-9:30 a.m., lunch, noon-1 p.m.

Jefferson Village School (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), starting June 22, breakfast and lunch, 11 a.m.-noon.

Also, Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. June 15 through Aug. 20, bulk meals (seven lunches and seven snacks) will be available for pick up through Head Starts/MMCA at Friendship Street Head Start, Waldoboro, and Salt Bay Head Start, Damariscotta.
