The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club will be offering bikes for the use of seasonal workers working at the numerous hotels, restaurants and other businesses in the Boothbay region this summer. Unlike other years, it will be very difficult for us to estimate how many workers will be working in the Boothbay region this summer due to the COVID-19 epidemic. It is probably safe to say the numbers of seasonal workers will be significantly lower than in all our previous years.

Regardless, the club is committed to providing a bike to all workers in need of one. At this time we will only be available to hand out bikes on Saturday mornings from 9 until 11 commencing June 6 until June 27. Bikes will be distributed at the Rotary Bike Shed, 66 Montgomery Road, Boothbay Harbor. As we develop a better feel for the number of workers we will reassess whether to modify our schedule.

To obtain a bike, you will need to show a picture ID. We also require a $100 security deposit, which is returned on receipt of the bike at the end of the season.
