The Boothbay Region Health Center has been awarded a grant from the Maine Community Foundation to increase access to mental health services for local teens. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Jennie McNeil and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Cathy Fisher are currently providing telehealth counseling to clients of all ages. But they want to increase the convenience and access of counseling services to young people in the Boothbay region, and to the families of local teens. COVID-19 has created many additional hurdles for young people and their families. The Health Center welcomes teens and/or parents of teens to reach out to us and to take advantage of our welcoming, warm, supportive services. The Boothbay Region Health Center also received a grant from the Maine Health Access Foundation to help support telehealth services to patients of all ages during the Corona Virus pandemic. All of our providers are able to do convenient office visits with patients via computer or smartphone. Call 633-1075 to schedule yours.

In addition to telehealth services, we also continue to welcome face-to-face patients. Our office is sanitized. Our providers (and patients) wear masks. Don't put off seeing a doctor because you're afraid of coming to a health care facility. If you have an injury, or pain, a sore throat, a urinary tract infection, or a concern about a health issue, or if you have a condition that needs monitoring like diabetes, heart issues, respiratory issues, high blood pressure, we're fully staffed to diagnose and treat you.
