The Seahawks indoor track boys team sent six athletes to Bates College in Lewiston for the Maine Class B State Championship Feb. 15. The Seahawks, normally a Class C team execpt for indoor track, were one of 43 teams to compete there.

Will Perkins entered seeded first for the one-mile and two-mile runs, Nathan Chatterton was seeded 11th provisionally for the one-mile run and Quinn Ranta was seeded 14th provisionally for the 55m hurdles. The 4x800m relay team of Chatterton, Fox Elder, Graham Harris and Ryan Russell was seeded 23rd.

Perkins and Chatterton placed seventh and 11th in the one-mile run, respectively, in 4:54.28 and 4:57.79; Perkins, two-mile run, 13th, 11:17.45; Ranta, 55m hurdle preliminaries, 13th, 9.36; and the 4x800m relay team, ninth, 9:26.93.
