At Dixfield Thursday night, the Boothbay Region Seahawks used a fourth quarter comeback to defeat the Dirigo Cougars 33-28.

Trailing after three quarters, 25-19, the Seahawks held Dirigo to just three points in the final eight minutes while scoring 14 of their own to get the win and improve to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars fell to 1-4 with the loss.

Chloe Arsenault led Boothbay with 12 points, followed by Glory Blethen with 11.

Alyvia Perreault led Dirigo with nine points.

The Seahawks’ next league game is after the Christmas break when Oak Hill visits BRHS on Friday, Dec. 27.
