Lincoln County Historical Association will host its second Fall Fashion show at Waters Edge in Edgecomb on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11:30 a.m. The event provides an opportunity to showcase fashions available at local stores at the same time that it raises funds to help preserve LCHA’s three historic properties.
Who knew that a fashion show could be so much fun? “Well, the members of the board of trustees harbored some reservations about the idea,” said LCHA board member Joe Zoellers, who came up with the idea. “But last year’s entrance into the world of fashion was such great fun for the models and the luncheon guests that we were persuaded to bring it back again.”
Fashions for men and women will be provided by merchants from Bath, Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Boothbay. Runway models are LCHA volunteers who have been persuaded to walk the plank for this worthy cause.
Seating is limited. Tickets are $50, which also includes luncheon, wine, coffee or tea, and dessert. Call LCHA at 882-6817 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for reservations. Proceeds will support the administration and maintenance of LCHA’s three house museums.
