Spruce Mountain won all singles matches April 29 defeating Boothbay Region, 4-1 in school boys tennis action. The Seahawks' lone victory came in No. 1 doubles with Cody Field and Mason Erhard defeating Spruce Mountain’s Seth Brenner and Jon Brenner, 10-4. Spruce Mountain won a fourth match with a forfeit in the No. 2 doubles. 

In singles, Spruce Mountain’s Cam Cain defeated Bobby Clarkson, 10-1. In second singles, Andrew Shaw defeated Boothbay’s Henry Drapeau, 10-6. In third singles, Spruce Mountain’s Drew Delaney defeated Ryan Russell, 10-5. Class B Spruce Mountain improves to 2-0. Boothbay drops to 1-2 in Class C South. Boothbay hosts Mountain Valley (0-1) at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 1.
