Boys Seahawks tennis faced the Madison Area Memorial High School Bulldogs at home for it first match of the season April 25. Despite being short on players and having to forfeit their second doubles match, the Seahawks edged their opponent 3-2.

Seahawk Bobby Clarkson traded sets with Jordan Spaulding – Clarkson winning the first 7-5 and Spaulding winning the second 6-3. Clarkson lost the third set 10-3 losing the match to Spaulding.

Henry Drapeau won his first and second sets for the Seahawks against Caleb Cowan 6-1 and 6-4; Ryan Russell won first and second sets against Tanner Mongeon 6-4 and 6-3; and doubles partners Cody Field and Mason Erhard defeated Luke Harper and Jaden Spaulding in first and second sets 7-5 and 6-2.

Seahawk Vincent Salzwedel won the exhibition match 6-0 in the first set and 6-1 in the second.

The next match against Hall-Dale High School has been postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday, April 30 and will be away.
