The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 194 calls for service for the period of May 6 to May 13. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 4,790 calls for service.
Summonses
Keith F. Mackie, 34, of New York, New York, was issued a summons May 11 for Motor Vehicle Speeding: 30+ MPH Over Speed Limit, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Jennifer A. Bowen, 46, of Warren was issued a summons May 13 for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, on Atlantic Hwy., Waldoboro, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Arrests
Courtney R. Simmons, 26, of Nobleboro was arrested May 6 for Violating Condition of Release, on Depot Street, Waldoboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Graham M. Deleo, 32, of Waldoboro was arrested May 7 for Violating Condition of Release (x2) and Violating a Protection Order, on Washington Road, Waldoboro, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Daniel M. Britt, 45, of Boothbay was arrested May 7 for Possession of Firearm by a Prohibited Person; Violation of a Protective Order and Violating Condition of Release, on Cross Point Road, Edgecomb, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Evan E. Esancy, 28, of Farmingdale was arrested May 10 for Operating under the Influence, on South Clary Road, Jefferson, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
William R. Morton, 37, of Boothbay was arrested May 11 for Aggravated Criminal Mischief; Operating Under the Influence – 1 prior; Violating Condition of Release and Operating Vehicle without License, on Back Narrows Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Joseph Booth, who was assisted by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Accidents
On May 8, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Alan R. Lessner, 72, of Jefferson. Mr. Lessner was operating his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when a cow entered the roadway from the left side and struck his vehicle on the front driver’s side corner and rear driver quarter panel. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On May 10, an accident occurred on Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor involving Douglas A. Zyskowski, 79, of Boothbay. Mr. Zyskowski was operating his 2017 Honda Ridgeline in a parking lot and when exiting the parking lot, he struck a light pole. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On May 11, an accident occurred on Jones Woods Road in Newcastle involving James M. Carter, 39, of Jefferson. Mr. Carter was operating his 2014 Ford Fusion westbound when he stated he fell asleep. As a result, his vehicle crossed the center line, collided with a guardrail and drove back over the center line. His vehicle then traveled off the roadway on the right and came to rest. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On May 11, an accident occurred on State Route 129 in South Bristol involving Judith D. Falconer, 76, of South Bristol. Ms. Falconer was operating her 2013 Toyota Sienna southbound when a deer ran into the road (from right to left) in front of her vehicle and was struck, causing passenger side front damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On May 11, an accident occurred on Head Tide Road in Whitefield involving Krysta L. Paul, 20, of Whitefield. Ms. Paul was operating her 2012 Chevrolet Traverse southbound when she observed a deer enter the roadway from the northbound ditch and struck it. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
