Garden tour coming up
Take your choice of places to view the beautiful Sheepscot River, Lower Mark Island, Seguin Light and Georgetown.
Sitting at the stone fire pit one can look out to Sheepscot Bay. Built in 2000 by Byron Borst, it is an ideal Maine home with many amenities.
The screened-in porch makes for quiet relaxation where one can hear the waves on the rocks or the garden waterfall. The kitchen has a panoramic view of the water. The living room is dominated by a fieldstone fireplace, providing a cozy atmosphere. The master bedrooms and two guest bedrooms also have views of the water.
The home is decorated in a casual, simple manner with many wonderful works of art done by local artists. Beginning with the road name and extending to carvings, sculptures, and ceramic statues of birds to decorate the house, this home is definitely for the bird!
Tickets for the July 24 Boothbay Region Garden Club Home and Garden Tour are limited and may be purchased at the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce for $25 in advance or $30 on tour day.
