Pastor of church in Oman preaches at Congregational Church
The Rev. Ken R. Bradsell, a Reformed Church of American pastor currently serving the Protestant church in the country of Oman, will be the guest minister at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor.
The population of Oman is 75 percent Muslim. Rapid development resulting from oil wealth has attracted thousands of foreign workers to Oman, which is on the Arabian Peninsula. Many are Christians from Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, and America.
The Protestant Church in Oman provides them with a place to gather for worship and community.
Bradsell will speak about Muslim-Christian relations. He and his wife, Marcia, have recently bought a home in Boothbay Harbor and plan to spend retirement years here. Sarah Foulger will be present to lead worship.
