Rachel’s Hair Studio, formerly Rachel’s Shortcuts, has relocated to the Meadow Mall at 185 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.

After her daughter was born, owner Rachel (Marsh) Higgins contemplated how to balance salon ownership with the demands of a young daughter.

Relocating reduced monthly expenses to accommodate her new family needs.

While making this transition, she learned from her peers while working with other stylists.

The new salon has a pleasant décor with many updates to equipment. She also introduced a new product line by Loreal, Mythic Oil.

Higgins has over 20 years experience as a stylist and loves her work and her clients.

The salon is full service for men and women, offering cuts, colors, perms and keratin treatments.
