Robert Hanley was recognized as a Dorothy Abbott Senior Star by Jen Dorwart for his faithful attendance of the Boothbay Region Y at an age when many have retreated to their rocking chairs.
This privilege is bestowed on those who are 90 years of age and who have been members for at least two years.
Stars are no longer are required to pay annual dues, and are eligible for all YMCA activities.
Robert has been an active member of the Boothbay Region YMCA for over a decade.
He is often seen walking the track in the field house, observing the action on the courts down below.
