Celebrating June Phillips’ life
The Boothbay Region Health and Wellness Foundation invites you to a joyous celebration of June Phillips exceptional life this Sunday, Jan. 11 at the Boothbay Fire House at 2 p.m. In the tradition June would have wanted, this will include potluck desserts. Please bring a yummy dessert to share with others.
June was a very active board member of the Wellness Foundation and the chairman of our Awesome Seniors committee. She also served as the coordinator for FISH.
June was an inspiration to all of us — an unflagging advocate for seniors, low income residents and people with disabilities. She was active in civic affairs in Boothbay Harbor, Boothbay, and the Farm Bureau.
Above all, June felt strongly that seniors should live where they choose and how they choose as they age, be empowered patients, in control of their medical decisions, and enjoy the quality of life they choose. For June, that meant remaining active and engaged, being of service to others, and dying with dignity, which she did.
Please join us on Sunday to be inspired by stories of June's exceptional life.
