Former float winners, special guests, and generous sponsors are gearing up to make this year's parade one to remember

The Windjammer Days Street Parade is getting a major boost of Maine spirit this year — the L.L.Bean Bootmobile is heading to Boothbay Harbor to join the lineup on Wednesday, June 25!

This rolling Maine icon will be parading through town alongside fire trucks, marching bands, and creative floats from local businesses, community groups, and organizations. It's a chance to celebrate the strength and spirit of our region. This year's theme is The U.S. Coast Guard! 

Planning to enter a float? Now’s the time to get your application in! A panel of experienced judges will be on hand to evaluate this year’s entries — including Richmond Fire Department, 2024 winners of the Lighted First Responders Parade; Evan Hepburn, Represeting The Carousel Marina Boothbay Lights Lighted Boat Parade winner; Susan Clough, a longtime Windjammer Days volunteer; and Sharon Rose from News Center Maine. With their combined eye for creativity, detail, and hometown flair, the competition for the Banner Prizes is sure to be inspiring!

To make this much-loved tradition happen, it takes a village — and generous support. The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce organizes the parade each year, covering key costs like event insurance, performance groups such as the Kora Karts and local bands, and those beloved parade banners.
