The Newcastle Board of Selectmen will meet at 7 p.m. tonight, Jan. 13, at the Newcastle Town Office.

In addition to regular business, the board will also hear reports on the depot, including Newcastle Depot Committee appointments.

Also scheduled for the board is a 2014 contract with Interstate Septic Systems, a transfer station contract and setting a date for a sign ordinance workshop. There will also be a discussion on the future of the Land Use Ordinance Review Committee and the joint meeting with Damariscotta's board of selectmen, which is scheduled for January 27.

All meetings are open to the public. For those unable to attend, Newcastle’s meetings are broadcast on LCTV Channel 7.
