Police seeking man who attempted to pull child into van

Police are seeking a man who allegedly tried to pull a child into his van Wednesday, Dec. 11 at approximately 3:55 p.m. on Middle Street in Bath.
According to police dispatchers, the man is approximately 40 years old, 5’9” and bald with a long beard. He is reported to be wearing a dirty gray shirt and ripped jeans, driving a grayish-green van that was very clean “as if just washed.”
The man was last seen driving towards downtown Bath.
