‘Round Town Picks: Week of October 27
Our good luck may be teetering (at least, where the weather is concerned). It’s downright cold, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to hibernate.
There’s a big American Legion breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 27. It’s open to the public, it’s a buffet and it’s just $7 for adults and $3.50 for kids. For more information, call 207-633-5579.
Have you read Suzi Thayer’s story about all the restaurants that will be staying open this winter? You have more options than you might think, so try something different this offseason.
How will you vote November 5 on Boothbay’s zoning changes? Are you still unsure? Read Ryan Leighton’s story, which goes into all the details.
Halloween used to be one night, now it seems it’s several weeks of celebrations and events (which is fine by us). Click here to see a list of everything Halloween in our region, including the Boothbay Harbor CLICK parade
Plus, check out this year’s Boo Bucks coupons. There are some great, limited-time deals, and you can print them out from your computer or clip them from the paper. Click here to print.
Need something to read? The Memorial Library has moved (temporarily) to the old laundromat in the Meadow Mall so its renovations can begin. Exciting!
Send a photo of you and your friends or family on your favorite excursion of the week to pix@boothbayregister.com. You could wind up featured on an upcoming ‘Round Town Picks or in the print paper!
