Weekend rains have soaked the Boothbay Harbor Country Club's golf course, forcing head pro Chad Penman to delay the opening until Monday, May 27.

"We have been inundated with rain for the past five days and it is expected to continue through the weekend," he said.

"The forecast is much better next week and we look forward to seeing all of you," Penman said.
