The comprehensive plan committees of Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor will be holding a joint meeting in the Boothbay Region YMCA's Coastal Club room on May 23 at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be attended by planning consultants Mark Eyerman and Bob Faunce, the chairmen Chuck Cunningham and John O'Connell, and other members of the comprehensive planning committees.

The meeting is the first collaborative effort between Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor to identify the common goals and visions as both towns move forward during the preliminary planning stages.

The comprehensive plan committees invite all members of public to attend the meetings to offer input and ideas to help better the future of the entire region.
