Thursday, Aug. 29 is the first student day for Boothbay Region schools grades Pre-K-9, Southport Central School, and Edgecomb Eddy School. Boothbay Region High School students in grades 10-12 will begin Friday, Aug. 30.

Starting Sept. 4, every Wednesday is an early release day for Boothbay Region and Edgecomb schools. School is dismissed at 1:30 p.m. for the Boothbay schools and 1:45 p.m. for the Edgecomb Eddy School.

Boothbay Region Elementary School 7:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Edgecomb Eddy School 8 a.m.-2:45 p.m.

Southport Central School 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Meal prices

Breakfast and lunch will be served on the first day of school at the following rates

BRES (grades 1-8): breakfast, $1.50; lunch, $2.95

BRHS: breakfast, $1.50; lunch, $3

Southport Central School: breakfast, $1.50; lunch, $2.60

Edgecomb Eddy School: breakfast, $1.50; lunch, $2.95
