On Sunday, Aug. 25, the Congregational Church will celebrate its 10 a.m. worship service at Barrett’s Park. The service will focus on God’s magnificent creation. Dr. Foulger’s sermon is entitled, “Breakfast with Jesus” and breakfast breads (including gluten free) will be served. Brian Donovan, who has recently finished his seminary training, is preparing prayers and other liturgical pieces. Members of the choir and bell choir will offer music and award-winning musician, Lisa Redfern, will sing and accompany the hymns.

Bring a chair and wear a hat for sun. Extra chairs will be available. Bring a picnic if you’d like to stay for lunch. Beverages and desserts will be served. The service will proceed at Barrett’s Park even if it is foggy or cloudy but, in the event of rain, worship will take place at the church, 125 Townsend Avenue. Everyone is welcome.
