The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team's fine season ended Saturday, June 6 as the host Waynflete Flyers shut out the Seahawks, 5-0, in matches in the semifinal round of the Western Maine Class C tournament.

Boothbay, which finished the 2015 season with a 12-2 record, had moved on to the semifinal round with a 3-2 win over Winthrop at home on June 4. Waynflete, 13-1, defeated Madison 5-0 to move on to play Boothbay. Waynflete will now face undefeated Hall-Dale, 13-0, for the Western Maine crown.
