On June 6, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Chapman-Hall House Stewardship Committee is holding an information and update meeting for all their docents and anyone interested in volunteering at the house.

This historic site, dated to 1754, is the oldest house still in existence in Damariscotta. The house is open mid-June through the first weekend in October on weekends. Tours of the house and ell share with visitors home life of the early residents of mid-coast Maine and local history.

Chapman-Hall House is located at the head of Main Street, 270 Main Street, Damariscotta. The Chapman-Hall House is one of three historic sites under the care of the Lincoln County Historical Association. The Lincoln County Historical Association is a nonprofit organization that provides stewardship for the 1754 Chapman-hall House, the 1761 Pownalborough Courthouse in Dresden, and the 1811 Old Jail and Museum in Wiscasset.
