Wed, 06/12/2013 - 10:00am
The Boothbay Harbor board of selectmen unanimously granted Town Manager Tom Woodin a 3 percent raise at their June 10 meeting. Last fiscal year, Woodin earned a salary of $69,025. This fiscal year, which starts on July 1, he will earn $71,095.75.
Woodin has served on the Port and Budget committees and was also on the Board of Selectmen for one year before being chosen as town manager in 2006.
Woodin says his plans for next year include continuing to improve the town, and focusing on efforts that draw businesses and tourists to the region.
“We, as a town, need to support things like the footbridge beautification project. The footbridge is a great draw for the area,” Woodin said.
