The Lincoln County Community Resources Group will hold its April meeting Wednesday, April 8 at 3 p.m., featuring Dennis King, CEO of Maine Behavioral Healthcare. The meeting will be held at St. Philip's Church, Hodge Street, Wiscasset.

Mr. King will talk about current MBH efforts (including Lincoln County) and some of the major mental health issues facing the state. He brings years of experience in healthcare, and now leads MBH, which is the mental healthcare delivery system of MaineHealth, covering southern, central, coastal and western Maine.

Mental health is a major personal, community and public health issue, and direct mental health services in this region and the state are far from what's needed. The meeting is open to the public. Whether you’re a professional or volunteer working in this field, an area resident or community group, your experiences, questions and ideas are welcome.
