The annual meeting of the Southport Historical Society will take place on Monday, June 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hendrick’s Hill Museum in the museum reference room. The meeting will be held at the usual board meeting time, date and place but will be open to the public. The annual treasurer's report will be given and posted and there will be an election of officers and new board members. There will be no program offered during the annual meeting. Instead, there will be a community wide event on July 16, 7 p.m., at the Southport Town Hall to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the museum.
