Townsend Avenue and downtown Boothbay Harbor were devoid of activity at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday as Boothbay Register employee Mike Marr snowshoed down to get some photos of the snowstorm. The storm didn't take many by surprise and it was apparent with the lack of business activity.
Grover's Hardware, Good 'N You, Sewall's Auto Parts and Oak Street Provisions were some of the die-hard businesses that weathered the storm with the Boothbay Register.
Oak Street Provisions kindly provided coffee and scotchies for the snowshoer.
