Not that they aren't familiar with the Augusta Civic Center floor, the Seahawks boys basketball team got a chance to reacquaint themselves with their home away from home and played well in the Capital City Hoop Classic on Saturday.

In a late morning rematch of the opening night of the season, the Seahawks avenged their only loss by defeating the Dirigo Cougars, 61-51. John Hepburn, who was named to the all tournament team, led the Seahawks with 22 points with his fellow co-captain Andrew Hallinan adding 11 points.

In their second game of the day, the Seahawks fell to Class A power Cony, 67-53, with Hepburn leading all scores with 28 points. Cony went on to win the tournament with a 81-52 victory over Waterville.
