Seahawks fall to Bulldogs

Seahawk nation could not be prouder of a group of young men and the coaching staff that took to the floor of the Augusta Civic Center on Monday, Feb. 17 for a Class C quarterfinal.
Playing without eight players from the original roster, six who had been suspended and two who are on a school trip, the Seahawks, led by their head coach I.J. Pinkham and senior captain Andrew Hallinan, came out on the short end of a 67-54 decision at the hands of the Hall-Dale Bulldogs.
Boothbay trailed by just one point after one quarter and four at the break before Hall-Dale pulled away, outscoring the Seahawks 41-32 in the second half.
Hallinan and freshmen Jacob Leonard led the Seahawks with 16 points apiece.
