Seahawks cruise past Roadrunners

    The Lady Seahawks bounced back from two straight losses by easily defeating the Mt. Abram Roadrunners, 52-21, in Western Maine Class C basketball action in Salem Monday night.

    Boothbay jumped out to a 15-7 lead after eight minutes and never looked back. The Lady Seahawks outscored Mt. Abram 15 to 1 in the third quarter to take a 39-16 lead into the final frame.

    Junior guard Morgan Crocker led Boothbay with 14 points.
