The Reverend Peter Panagore, MDiv, Yale, of Ocean Point will preach the Gospel through the lens of near-death experience, on Sunday, July 14, at 9:30 a.m. Alan Wingard will be the organist. All are welcome.
Peter books thirty national and international media interviews and speaking events per year on TV, radio, and podcasts, and at universities, conferences, groups, as well as on retreats. Peter has appeared on “Fox and Friends,” “Coast to Coast AM,” and recently on “Buddha at the Gas Pump: Interviews with ‘Ordinary’ Spiritually Awakening People.” Peter was a keynote speaker in Seattle at the International Association of Near-Death Studies Conference 2018, and this year he spoke at the Afterlife Conference. Peter has been invited to speak at the Consciencia Congress 2020 in Mexico City.
His audible best-seller, “Heaven Is Beautiful: How Dying Taught Me That Death Is Just The Beginning,” is available in nine editions globally from five publishers. His Maine best-seller, a three-hundred-and-sixty-page daily devotional, “Two Minutes For God: Quick Fixes For The Spirit,” contains fan favorites from his morning TV spot and is available globally. The working title of Peter’s third book is “Millions of Modern Mystics Among Us: Moving from Believing to Knowing.” Peter is seeking a church pulpit.
Peter, as he is known around the Boothbay region, recently finished 15 years on broadcast television across Maine as the writer, executive producer, and storyteller of “Daily Devotions,”the brand of the non-profit, First Radio Parish Church of America, 1926-2018, which reached eighty thousand daily viewers on News Center Maine, bringing hope, love, and inspiration for two minutes before the morning weather. Peter wrote and produced seventeen hundred scripts and spots and served as the ministry’s executive leader.
Previously, Peter served as the minister of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, UCC, where he published one hundred and fifty sermons for Homiletics journal. If you were at the Windjammer’s Festival Street Parade, then you saw Peter walking on stilts.
