Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Maine Street in Damariscotta will host its weekly Lunch and Learn program on Wednesday, July 8 at 11:15 a.m. Following the luncheon in recognition of our country's independence and those who have served to preserve our freedom, Kelley Kash, Maine Veterans' Homes CEO, will discuss our state's homes for veterans and how these faculties are caring for Maine's heroes and their families with the dignity and respect they have earned.

Advanced luncheon reservations are required. Call 563-1363 by noon on July 6 to make your luncheon reservation for the Center's chicken barbeque; $6 per person for luncheon guests over 60, all others $7 per person. Can't make it to lunch? Community members are always welcome to attend the Center's Wednesday Learn portion of the day's Lunch and Learn program, which will begin at approximately noon.
