Ocean Temple opens in Boothbay Harbor
Ingrid Tosteson said she always felt a connection to the Boothbay region. For her, this peninsula is a place of solace, which is part of the reason she's opening Ocean Temple in Boothbay Harbor next month.
Ocean Temple specializes in holistic health for physical, emotional and psychological wellness. Tosteson said she integrates her work and studies through a broad base of services including massage therapy, Thai yoga massage, energy healing, acupressure inspired massage and cranio-sacral therapy.
“I think that we get stuck in habits and patterns of thinking and behavior, and it's good to go to somebody that can give you a fresh perspective on what kind of chronic pain you have,” Tosteson said.
Tosteson said visitors should feel free to stop by and discover healthier alternatives that people might not know about.
“For people that don't know about holistic health and natural healing, they can open up a whole new world for themselves in health and wellness,” Tosteson said.
Tosteson said she's open for counseling and finding the right resources to suit a patient's personal needs.
Ocean Temple is located at 18 West Street at the office of the Boothbay Chiropractor.
There will be a special offered throughout March to come and try the services for $55 for the first hour. Ocean Temple will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
