Morgan Mitchell of Southport will be graduating from Goucher College in Baltimore, Md.,  May 24, 2013, with a degree in sociology and anthropology. She will graduate magnum cum laude, with honors in sociology and Phi Beta Kappa membership.       

Mitchell is extremely grateful for her experiences and adventures at Goucher and for all those who helped along the way. She'd like to extend a special thanks to the Boothbay Region Student Aid fund for generous support, and to her parents, Susan Endicott and Robert Mitchell.   

She will pursue advanced study and graduate work in teaching English as a Second Language, encouraged by her rewarding and successful Goucher College Latino Center experiences in Baltimore.

She and her husband Andrei are looking forward to their next new adventures, which include this season's management duties at Smuggler's Cove Inn in East Boothbay.
