‘Home on the Range’ at Fish and Game Sept. 30
American Legion Post 36 and Boothbay Region Fish and Game Association are holding a military and veteran “Home on the Range” barbecue and gun day at the BRF&G facility, 447 Dover Road, Boothbay on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Open to all military veterans and their families, check-in is between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The range opens at 11:15 a.m. and the barbecue starts at noon. The range will close at 3 p.m.
A limited number of guns will be available for those who don’t bring their own. There will be a charge for ammunition not brought to the event. Hand guns, up to and including .45s, and long guns, up to and including .30-caliber rifles, will be allowed. No shotguns will be allowed.
