Historical Society major fundraiser Oct. 12
On Saturday, Oct. 12, come rain or shine, the Boothbay Region Historical Society will sell delicious two-year aged Vermont cheddar made by renowned Grafton Village cheese makers. One pound ($14) and half pound ($8) packages are available, along with our own Heritage black and herbal teas.
Visit the Railway Village or the society’s museum from 9 a.m. until sold out. At both locations, buy raffle tickets for a summer 2020 fun ride aboard Charlie Bamberg’s 1959 pumper engine fire truck. Raffle winner will be announced at the museum at 3 p.m., so get those raffle chances ($1 each, 6 for $5) early. Also at the museum, find luscious baked goods for sale.
All proceeds benefit the continued mission of the BRHS, to preserve and protect for future generations the Boothbay region’s rich history. Hope to see you Saturday!
