Feldenkrais comes to Crow Point Yoga
Beginning June 10, Dianne Daniels will teach Feldenkrais group classes at Crow Point Yoga, located at 24 West Street in Boothbay Harbor.
Feldenkrais is a neuromuscular approach that uses gentle movements that will, over time, alleviate chronic aches and pains in your neck, shoulders, back, hips, and knees. It will also increase your range of motion and better your alignment, so that posture and flexibility improve.
Daniels, MA, has been a Feldenkrais practitioner for over 10 years. She included Feldenkrais exercises in her two books, "Exercises for Osteoporosis," and "Pilates Perfect," because it is so highly beneficial as an adjunct to any exercise program.
Feldenkrais is perfect for people of all ages and abilities, as long as you are able to get down to the floor and back up. Most lessons occur while lying or sitting on the floor.
