The Edgecomb Community Church will be holding a fundraising event in the form of a sub sale Saturday, Oct. 19. Church members will be taking orders for this fall event, which will be replacing one of their former church suppers.

Choice of an 8-inch sub roll, white or wheat, along with choice of either ham or vegetables with various cheeses and toppings will be available along with potato chips and a drink; all at a great price of $7 each. Pick up at the church 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 19 or have delivered to your place of employment or home.

Order forms will be available at the church or from church members. Or, you may call Marjorie DiVece at 882-6338 to place an order by Wednesday, Oct. 16 (also to make arrangements for home delivery if desired). The church is located at 15 Cross Point Road in Edgecomb just before the Edgecomb Green elderly housing facility.

All proceeds will be used for the church’s mission work.

So take an evening off from cooking and order your whole family subs, while supporting local mission work by one of your local churches.
