The 2015 YMCA Spring Dance Spectacular on May 8 and 9 featured 26 routines performed by over 60 dancers, under the direction of teachers Melissa Nein and Emily Mirabile.
Dancing of several types — tap, ballet, ballet pre-pointe/pointe, jazz, and creative movement — was performed on the stage at Boothbay Region High School on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Family, friends and dance fans filled the audience.
Several of the dancers will continue their classes during the summer as the YMCA is holding several camps from mid-June to late August.
