The Southport Island Association is holding a free cookout, followed by a kickball game, at Southport Central School on Wednesday, July 8.
The cookout, featuring hot dogs and whatever side dishes and desserts are contributed, will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The kickball game will start at 6:30 p.m.
Even if you aren't up for kickball, come spend some time with your neighbors. It is suggested to bring a blanket or chair to sit on in case the ground is damp.
