Cold snap creeps into Maine

Bitter cold temperatures made their way into Maine on Wednesday night, Dec. 11, and could remain throughout the weekend.
The National Weather Service in Gray expects temperatures to hover around 20 F, but with the wind chill, temperatures could dip to -25 F below zero.
A winter storm is expected to arrive Saturday and Sunday with a 90 percent change of snow showers.
A gale warning has also been issued from Cape Elizabeth extending to Port Clyde until 1 a.m. Thursday morning. Winds are expected to blow 20 to 30 knots with gusts up to 35 knots. Seas could reach 6 to 9 feet.
