Colby & Gale is looking to raise money for Boothbay Fire Department and become better acquainted with the business’s new neighbors. From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, Colby & Gale will hold an open house which will include raffles and giveaways for products relating to the business and its vendors. In June, Colby & Gale moved into its satellite office at 3 Industrial Park Drive.

The open house’s main event is a raffle for a year’s worth of home heating oil or propane. Tickets are $10 apiece or six for $50. More than 500 tickets were printed and all proceeds will go to Boothbay Fire Department. Colby & Gale will also match all raffle proceeds and donations up to $5,000. Tickets are on sale now at Colby & Gale’s Boothbay office, Boothbay Fire Department and Boothbay town office. 

Other open house activities include product demonstrations by Colby & Gale staff and the business’s vendors. “We’re looking forward to getting to know our neighbors better, and helping the fire department at the same time,” said Kerri Lincoln of Colby & Gale.
