Chamber to host Business After Hours Aug. 28 for Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library
The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce is delighted to host a Business After Hours for the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library. The event will take place at the Library on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving as the Boothbay Region’s public library. Visit the library to grab a book, catch a lecture or author talk, access Ancestry.com, read the papers, reserve a Museum Pass, get research assistance or one-on-one tech help, or just hang out and enjoy our community. Every Friday at 10:30 a.m. BHML hosts story time; and starting back up in October will be PJ Storytime: Wednesdays at 6 p.m. (pajamas encouraged, not required!). This year the Minecraft Club will grow into a Coding Club for kids’ grade 4-6. Behind the historic columns, BHML is preserving the past and propelling the future. As one seasonal resident recently put it, “For a small town library it is very impressive.” Come see what BHML has for you.
The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours are open to members (free) and non-members ($10), and everyone from the business community is encouraged to participate. Please register to attend by calling the Chamber offices at 633-2353.
