Boy Scouts go on an outing

On Saturday, June 27, Boy Scout Troop 238 hiked Great Pond Mountain in Orland, swam, kayaked, and canoed on Craig's Pond, visited the Unique Rock Shop on Verona Island where they cracked a geode, and topped their adventure off by attending the 40th anniversary screening of "Jaws" at the Alamo Theater in Bucksport.
The troop also earned two more nights camping and finished their Environmental Science merit badges with Troop 238's aunt, Susan Sherman Jellison. They also gained a co-mascot, Bella, the dog. A great time was had by all.
