Boothbay Town Manager Jim Chaousis has closed the town office today, Friday, Jan. 3, due to the storm and road conditions. He said there has been an “excellent response” in regards to storm clean-up efforts. “Based on the wind drifts, extreme cold temperatures, and working overnight, storm clean-up may drag on into the afternoon,” Chaousis said.
