In terms usually reserved for sporting events, businesses in the Boothbay region may sweep the categories in Down East Magazine's "Best of Maine" competition. The annual contest is now online and voting to pick the winners is open to the public through June 13. There are 65 sections among these categories: FOOD & DRINK, ARTS & CULTURE, SHOPPING & STYLE, HOME & GARDEN, TRAVEL & PLAY. Not only are local businesses finalists in 25 of these, but in some sections more than one is on the list.
